Additionally, getting real-time, high-cardinality SIEM log streaming out of the edge to monitor attack vectors across our Windows and Linux infrastructure requires more manual setup than it should. As a cybersecurity and CLM company, we use it to shield a highly diverse backend including Apache Tomcat, WildFly clusters, Windows Server environments, and SSH administration gateways. The unified dashboard makes it easy to manage our baseline edge security and caching across various global PoPs. I really wanted to like 5centsCDN because the pricing model is incredibly competitive, especially for the Multi-CDN features they advertise. However, the savings in money are quickly lost in the time you spend trying to navigate the platform. The user interface feels like it's stuck a decade in the past. It is incredibly cluttered, and finding basic settings for cache purging or adjusting firewall rules takes way more clicks than it should. When you inevitably get stuck, the documentation is of very little help—many of the articles are overly brief or don't match the current layout of the dashboard. The onboarding process is entirely hostile to beginners. There is no simple 'plug-and-play' setup here. To make matters worse, when I submitted a support ticket to help configure my SSL certificates, it took over 24 hours to get a response because I wasn't on a premium support tier. If you are a seasoned DevOps engineer who needs cheap bandwidth and doesn't mind an ugly UI, this might work for you. I have used 5centsCDN in my previous organization as part of our workflow, mainly for improving website performance. I wasn’t directly handling all the configurations, but from a usage point of view, it seemed to work well. The platform felt stable, and we didn’t face major issues with loading or downtime. It also reduced the load on the main server, so there were fewer performance-related issues during high traffic periods.
