It was actually the first time this method was used in Slovenia for such a purpose. I appreciate that there are real people with real knowledge behind 3Dsurvey, guiding and supporting us all the way. I also like the profile feature a lot, as it's essential for creating baselines for all our cross sections and our final deliverables. The heightmap is great for quickly visualizing data. Plus, being able to export practically anything into .dxf files for further use in CAD software is really beneficial. **What do you dislike about 3Dsurvey?** well if we could have some additional, specific geology related features that would be great. Stuff like: terrain orientation visualization, maybe some additional slope analysis tools **What problems is 3Dsurvey solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find 3Dsurvey provides accurate terrain data, which is especially useful in hard-to-access areas. The profile feature is essential for cross-section baselines and .dxf export aids further analysis in CAD software. The integrated CAD tool was particularly helpful since it meant I didn't need an extra tool and license for it. It practically offers everything needed within a CAD engine in the same software, eliminating the need to export data and import it into a separate tool. Additionally, the availability of online tutorials and webinars greatly assisted in setting up the software. **What do you dislike about 3Dsurvey?** The processing time is a bit long. Also the naming of the features is confusing and not really universal. The onboarding process wasn't as straight-forward as I hoped it would be but it helped they provide a lot of online tutorials and webinars. **What problems is 3Dsurvey solving and how is that benefiting you?** 3Dsurvey minimizes my time in the field and maximizes customer services. It's made specifically for surveyors, which I find fantastic. The customer support is the best in the business and the initial setup was very easy due to their superb support. Additionally, I appreciate their CAD integration within the software, which is super intuitive for measuring and vectorizing, and it includes a lot of advanced features. **What do you dislike about 3Dsurvey?** It could be a bit faster, especially the bundle adjustment and dense reconstruction processes. **What problems is 3Dsurvey solving and how is that benefiting you?** 3Dsurvey is super easy to use and very precise, making workflows faster than traditional methods. I can do a whole project in 3Dsurvey, from start to finish. Also very good support! **What do you dislike about 3Dsurvey?** The processing time is longer. The quality used to be a problem as well but they somewhat fixed that with the v4.0. **What problems is 3Dsurvey solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves my problem of fragmented data, which means less time spent per project.
