# How can we keep our incoming that have been assigned/tagged to a folder and have them remain there instead of duplicating in the inbox? Example: I created a folder labeled "Upcoming Closings". This folder is for emails about closings that are coming up that do not yet need to be assigned to another person but will need to be eventually. Therefore, I need to keep the email and respond to them, but it needs to remain in the folder. When I get a response to an email in the "Upcoming Closings" folder, it reflects in the "Upcoming Closings" folder and in the "Inbox". I mostly work through my Inbox. Unless I notice my tag, I may accidentally archive it after responding - which now will no longer be in my folder. So I either have to really pay attention to the tags at the top, or remember to go to the right folder to respond. Either way, I have to drag the email again BACK into the "Upcoming Closings" folder to empty my inbox. Is there a way for it to not duplicate? Have only the items in the folder be the items in the folder and have it not go to the inbox as well? ##### Post Metadata
