CalDAVconnect is a cloud-based sync bridge that connects any CalDAV server bidirectionally with Google Calendar or Microsoft 365.
The problem: Google and Microsoft don't speak CalDAV. Events created in Google Calendar don't appear in Nextcloud, SOGo or Posteo - unless you configure cron jobs, accept 30-minute delays, or abandon one side entirely.
The solution: CalDAVconnect uses webhooks for changes from Google/Microsoft 365 (1–2 seconds) and CTag-based polling for changes from CalDAV (7–8 seconds). No full calendar scans. No per-device setup.
Key features:
- Bidirectional sync: CalDAV ↔ Google Calendar / Microsoft 365
- Webhook-based - cloud changes appear in CalDAV within seconds
- Full event details synced (title, description, location, attendees)
- Privacy mode: sync only busy/free blocks
- Tested with Nextcloud, SOGo, Baïkal, Radicale, Synology, Infomaniak, Posteo, mailbox.org
- AES-256-GCM encryption, hosted in Germany (Hetzner), GDPR-compliant, DPA available
Who it's for: CalDAVconnect is for anyone who needs to bridge a CalDAV calendar with Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 - whether for personal convenience, business workflows, or tool interoperability. Typical users include professionals syncing a work CalDAV server (Nextcloud, SOGo, Synology, Infomaniak or a CRM with CalDAV) to their personal Google or Outlook calendar, privacy-conscious users who want their primary calendar on a self-hosted server but need cloud interoperability, and teams using scheduling tools like Calendly or HubSpot that only read Google Calendar or Microsoft 365. Also a cloud-based alternative for users of the Outlook CalDAV Synchronizer migrating to New Outlook.
