Sometimes I have to delete a lot of archives in Google Drive because I don't have more storage, what's the best way to save space?

Larger venders and suppliers I work with can't or won't receive files from the Data Drive. Is this because there network is blocking the Google Drive due to security reasons? Seems odd as to why only they can't access my files.
