# Bridge update 8.1.0 cannot add metadata. Adobe does not respond and I have found no other answers. I can no longer add metadata to Bridge. (have been doing this for years) Win10 64-bit, ACR 13.0.2, Bridge 8.1.0, PSCC 21.2.4. I recently updated ACR, bridge & pscc which is when the problem started. I am getting this error message: There was an error writing metadata to “name of image.jpg” I can enter data but this error shows up. If I close the metadata file, and re-open it is still there.
