# Which Sales Commission Software Has the Highest Rep Adoption Rates?

TLDR: Qobra and CaptivateIQ post the highest rep adoption numbers in G2's Sales Compensation category data, both well ahead of the category average.

I've been looking into this because a tool reps don't actually open defeats the purpose of moving off spreadsheets, and the adoption data plus reviews point pretty clearly in one direction:

Qobra (4.8/5, 1,071 reviews): The highest adoption rate in the category, and reps repeatedly describe checking their real-time commission tracking daily, with several specifically calling out the CRM sync as what makes it worth opening regularly.

CaptivateIQ (4.7/5, 3,489 reviews): Second-highest adoption among the larger players, and reps describe a two-minute habit of reviewing and accepting their commission statement each cycle, helped by clear tier breakdowns.

Everstage (4.8/5, 2,164 reviews): Worth flagging as the tradeoff here. It's the category's top-rated product on satisfaction, but its adoption rate trails Qobra and CaptivateIQ, and one reviewer specifically noted reps don't use it as frequently as hoped, suggesting frequency of use isn't tracking with the rating.

Is low adoption something you're trying to prevent during rollout, or are you dealing with reps who already have a tool they've stopped opening? The fix looks different depending on which one it is.

The satisfaction-versus-adoption gap the post notices has a plain explanation: reps check a commission tool daily only while they trust the number. The first time the dashboard and the actual payout disagree, checking stops, whatever the interface is like, because the tool has demonstrated it can't be relied on for the one thing it exists for. So rep adoption is less a UX property than a data-plumbing property: how clean is the feed from CRM to calc to payroll, and how fast do discrepancies get corrected.
