I keep coming back to this because a botched cutover is the real fear, and reviews say more about delivery discipline than formal methodology. Looking across the same Cisco Unified Communications Resellers reviews from a different angle, the methodology-versus-strong-team distinction in the post is worth taking seriously, because reviews rarely distinguish a documented, repeatable process from a specific project manager who happened to be excellent. On-time, on-budget delivery is the review theme that appears most consistently here, but that phrase describes an outcome, not a method, so it doesn't actually confirm that a proven methodology underlies it.

Dedicated reps who stay through the engagement are a genuine risk reducer worth weighing on its own, since continuity with the same person across a migration avoids handoff gaps where institutional knowledge is usually lost.

The honest read is probably that it's a strong team more often than a documented methodology, which isn't necessarily worse, but it does mean the risk reduction depends on that specific team staying assigned to your project through the cutover.
