Synthesia is probably the best value if your team needs to crank out lots of marketing videos without a studio. Great for explainers, promos, product videos, and multilingual stuff, but narrower than Canva overall.

The biggest improvement came for us when we stopped trying to find one tool to do everything and instead built a workflow where each tool handled a specific part of the process. That made content creation faster and more consistent.

Semrush feels less like a creation tool and more like a strategy layer. It’s really helpful for planning and optimizing content, especially for SEO-driven assets. But we still pair it with other tools for actual production.

Personally, Canva has been the easiest tool to scale digital marketing assets. It's not advanced but gets the job done quite well. The learning ain't steep, so a lot of friction around design gets removed. However, I feel that the design elements under the free plan have been reduced considerably over the years. Still, the paid plan is affordable and value for money for many teams. I have used Canva for both personal and professional endeavors, and it has always lived up to its reputation.

Curious, what’s the biggest bottleneck in your asset creation process today? Is it design, copy, or video production?
