# What product analytics tools work well for a SaaS company that does not have a dedicated data analyst and needs the team to answer their own questions?

The best fit seems to be tools that make PMs, founders, and designers less dependent on SQL or analyst support.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">In the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/product-analytics"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/product-analytics">product analytics software</a> category, I’d compare:</p><ul>

Oh this is exactly what the newer tools are for, so you&#39;re fine. Amplitude&#39;s the one I hear most, you can dig into funnels and retention without bugging a data team, and there&#39;s an AI query thing plus a free plan.
