# What AI presentation tools solve the blank-page problem when starting a deck from scratch?

I am researching which AI presentation tools are most effective at solving the blank-page problem when starting a deck from scratch. Staring at an empty slide is a common source of friction, and a growing number of products in the AI Presentation Tools category are designed to remove that first-draft barrier by generating structure, copy, and visuals from a prompt or outline.

Based on G2 data, a few platforms that consistently come up in this conversation are:

Beautiful.ai — Automatically applies design rules as users add content, turning blank slides into polished layouts without requiring manual design decisions.

Canva — Its Magic Design feature can turn a topic or uploaded document into a draft deck, making it useful for teams that also want extensive template and brand-asset libraries.

Gamma AI — Generates a complete narrative and slide sequence from a single prompt, directly addressing the challenge of starting with no existing content.

Decktopus — Generates an outline, copy, and visuals from a short input, with an emphasis on producing first drafts quickly.

Visme — Combines AI-generated starting drafts with data-visualization and branding controls for teams that need greater polish and customization.

Which of these tools has helped you move from a blank screen to a usable first draft the fastest? Where did you still need to perform significant manual cleanup?

In our organization we tested different AI presentation tools and Slaide.de was clearly the best one. It made very professional slides and saved us really much time, especially because we could continue directly in PowerPoint.

If I were starting with nothing but an idea, I’d look at Gamma or Decktopus because they generate the narrative and structure, not just the design. Canva makes more sense if I already have a brief or brand assets, while Beautiful.ai seems better when the content exists but arranging it into polished slides is the main blocker.
