# How important is reverse image search when choosing a brand asset management platform?

&lt;p&gt;Honestly it matters more the bigger and messier your library gets. If you&#39;ve got tens of thousands of assets, being able to find a similar or duplicate image visually saves a ton of time, and Bynder reviewers genuinely praise its AI image-similarity matching and facial recognition for exactly that, one mentioned it made a 180,000-asset migration manageable and helped strip duplicates. Canto and Acquia DAM (Widen) also lean on AI visual search, so it&#39;s becoming table stakes among the bigger platforms. To be real though, if your library is small and well-tagged, solid metadata and search might cover you and reverse image search is a nice-to-have, not a dealbreaker. How big is your asset library, and is it tagged well today?&lt;/p&gt;
