# How can organizations assess the financial stability and long-term viability of Oracle resellers before committing to a multi-year contract?

The worry is real: you don't want your partner acquired or gone mid-contract, and reviews speak more to delivery than to balance sheets. What we're hoping to find:

And did continuity hold up across a multi-year contract?

Working through the Oracle Database Resellers category on G2, the post is right that review content speaks to delivery quality far more than balance-sheet health. Scale and global footprint mentioned in reviews are a reasonable proxy, but not a direct answer to the viability question being asked. Team stability is probably the more useful signal that reviews can offer, since a reviewer mentioning the same account team or rep across multiple engagements over time is indirect evidence of low turnover, which matters more for a multi-year contract than almost anything else. Beyond what G2 shows, the practical vetting tools are references from clients several years into a similar contract, and asking directly whether the account team that sold the deal is the same one still delivering it.

Continuity of people is usually the first thing to break when a reseller is acquired or under financial strain, so it's the leading indicator to ask about directly rather than infer from a review count.
