# Greenhouse vs Gem vs HiredScore AI: which is highest-rated for centralizing hiring pipelines and ensuring data-driven, structured hiring decisions?

These three sit within Diversity Recruiting but solve fairly different pieces of the same problem, so it's worth looking at how reviewers actually rate each one rather than assuming they're interchangeable.

Greenhouse (4.4 stars, 4,000 reviews): The clear volume leader, and reviewers consistently cite structured scorecards and centralized pipeline visibility as core strengths for data-driven decision-making at scale.

Gem (4.7 stars, 304 reviews): Higher star rating but a fraction of the review volume. Reviewers focus more on sourcing analytics and pipeline forecasting than on interview-stage structure.

HiredScore AI for Recruiting (4.7 stars, 62 reviews): Matches Gem's star rating with the smallest review base of the three, and reviewer feedback centers on AI-driven candidate scoring and ranking rather than pipeline management directly.

Star rating and review count are telling different stories here: Greenhouse's rating holds up under far more scrutiny given its volume, while Gem and HiredScore AI's higher averages come from a much smaller sample. For teams that have run more than one of these side by side, did the smaller two actually hold up once you had enough reviewers internally to stress-test them, or did the rating shift once your team scaled past early adopters?

Centralization usually holds up until different teams start using their own processes and naming conventions. The first thing I’d expect to break is reporting or candidate ownership, especially when multiple departments touch the same profiles without clear governance.
