Tell me about how looker does the integrations.

How should the projects best structured? LookML code that needs to be maintained should follow DRY principle.

Generally it is used for reporting/visualisation. Are there companies using it for real time alerts or monitoring of application? If there are any companies using embedded version of the looker?
