OnCited is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform that tracks how brands appear in answers generated by AI search engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, and Meta AI. The platform runs a defined set of prompts against each engine on a daily or hourly cadence, smoothing results across multiple runs to measure share of voice, average position, sentiment, and source mix per engine. For each tracked prompt, OnCited identifies the specific URLs and snippets the AI engines cited to generate their answer, allowing users to see which sources (such as review sites, Reddit threads, editorial articles, or owned pages) are driving visibility for them and for competitors. Based on this data, the platform generates a weekly prioritized list of recommended actions — such as claiming a review site profile, adding schema to a page, rewriting content, or contributing to a community thread — with an estimated visibility lift attached to each item. OnCited also offers an optional Ranking service that publishes brand mentions across platforms commonly cited by AI engines, including Reddit, Quora, YouTube, Facebook groups, and a network of independent blogs. Additional features include pipeline and traffic attribution, white-label monthly reports, multi-client workspaces for agencies, configurable Slack and email alerts, prompt-level search volume data. The product is used by in-house marketing teams, GEO and SEO agencies managing client retainers, and individual founders.
