Do you think ARCore will be replaced by Google MediaPipe?

Google MediaPipe seems to be brining AR to any phone that doesn't have AR sensors or capability, do you think Google will merge MediaPipe and ARCore together to unlock more devices for AR?

Actually, I was working on indoor navigation with augmented reality project for my BS SE final year project. I used ARCore for it. It helps me through their algorithm of SLAM. My question is "is their any other technology or algorithm I can use for indoor navigation with the help of ARCore?"
