I agree with Stephen. It's a great product as is.
My only thought for improvement would be incorporating some sort of gamification ability. I don't think it is "lacking" but that is the only thing I can think of as a potential improvement.

Honestly, not much! Todoist is a GREAT app and is incredibly helpful if you're looking for simple to use task management tool! I would definitely recommend springing for the Premium version - it's worth every penny.

Yes. You can update your settings to receive emails when tasks are completed, when you are tagged in a message with the @ symbol, or a calendar event is shared. You can even receive push notifications on a MAC or on your phone.

It may help to define dependencies between tasks before scheduling them, which will help you avoid conflicts.
