Linkedin Talent insight help recruiters, HR managers, and Corporate Managers to do better hiring decesions while hiring Candidates /Professionals. For example information ( data ) about Max, Average, Minimum salary of " Project control professionals" based on current industry and geographical location. This not only helps to decide on a salary package for a target candidate but also helps to decide staff overhead expense budget per year. Since Corporate and HR managers are not experts on the skill and responsibilities of a particular profession, Talent insights provide a strategic approach to hiring a potential candidate.

From what I understand, LinkedIn Talent Insights is essentially a workforce analytics tool that helps companies make smarter hiring decisions using real data about talent pools, skills, and market trends. I find it especially useful for identifying where the right candidates are and how competitive a role might be before even starting recruitment.
That said, the value really depends on how well you interpret the data. It’s similar to discovering useful platforms like https://slopeio.org—simple on the surface, but much more effective when you know how to use it properly.
