Question on: ARGOS Low-code
It seems Argos Labs is trying to deploy no code bots. Can you explain a bit what that means technically (GUI automation or recording or something else)?
We want to enable everyone to be directly involved with their bots. We want more happy customers in the market who will use our bots for a long time. More than that, we want our customers to be able to build, deploy, and grow (maintain) bots. For them to be able to do that, our bots must be extremely easy. Accordingly, we decided to pursue the no-code RPA platform.
Technically, ARGOS RPA+ is a no-code RPA which is based on both manual processes using building blocks (GUI) and Auto-Rec. The challenge here is how you can bring robustness, stability, and supportability to the bots when they are built without coding. Early solutions from vendors like UiPath and Automation Anywhere required a lot of coding because they needed to bring stability to their bots. But now, they all seem to have realized that no coding and attended automation is the way to go. Today, not only ARGOS LABS, but everyone is trying very hard to come up technologies to realize “no code in production but fully coded in the produced bots.” More specifically, you can build a bot without coding but, in the background, the bots are automatically built to navigate with code-based interfaces to apps such as HTML, Windows and Web objects, Java-Script, SQL, RESTful API, etc. ARGOS LABS is trying to pursue just that, too.

Blue Prism can easily track and report changes to processes. Our audit viewer allows users to track the details of who, when, why and exactly how a process was changed.
In addition, detailed logs are held of every step taken during execution, providing a robust and detailed audit trail.

Is Blue Prism's Robotic Process Automation Platform secure and auditable?
Scalability
Security and auditability are built into the Blue Prism robotic automation platform at several levels. The runtime environment is completely separate to the process editing environment. Permissions to design, create, edit and run processes and business objects are specific to each authorised user.
A full audit trail of changes to any process is kept, and comparisons of the before and after effect of changes are provided. The log created at run-time for each process provides a detailed, time-stamped history of every action and decision taken within an automated process.
Our clients tend to find that running a process with Blue Prism gives them a lot more control than a manual process, and from a compliance point of view assures that processes are run consistently, in line with the process definition.
