# How do we extract the scanned PDF document.

We need to extract the checkbox and radio button details from the scanned PDF. Could you please guide me.

if it is image you can use the OCR 
if it is PDF you can use the PDF integration

You can achieve this by using manage web control commads available

You need to use IQBOT tool from Automation Anywhere to extract the text from the scanned PDF images. I am not sure about the extraction of checkbox &amp; radio button. Please check with AA support.

For extracting data&#39;s from scanned pdf&#39;s we are using cognitive RPA in Automation Anywhere tool. One important thing is the dpi of the scanned copy should be atleast 300.
