In May 2018, a European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is due to take effect. It replaces the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive, strengthening the rights that EU individuals have over their data, seeking to unify data protection laws across Europe.
Our users and business partners can count on the fact that Lusha is committed to GDPR compliance and will be fully prepared when the GDPR takes effect on May, 2018.
What has Lusha been doing?

Lusha is working diligently to ensure the privacy rights of its users and partners. As part of our continuous efforts, we have drafted a new privacy policy, which stipulates our privacy collection methods and practices and ensures that our users and partners are informed about their privacy rights in a transparent manner. We also started a process of implementing the GDPR into our day-to-day routine, by structuring, together with our legal counsels, a comprehensive GDPR-compliance readiness report & gap analysis, which specifies the precise measures which should be taken in light of the new regulation.
What are the next steps?

We are working to make additional operational changes in light of the new regulation, and will collaborate closely with our users, partners and legal counsels throughout this process. We have a global team of privacy experts who continue to carefully monitor GDPR implementation guidance, and will update our internal policies as well as our contractual commitments accordingly.
