[Which health care credentialing platforms are most trusted by credentialing managers based on user reviews?](/discussions/which-health-care-credentialing-platforms-are-most-trusted-by-credentialing-managers-based-on-user-reviews)

Hi G2 users, putting together a piece specifically on which [health care credentialing](https://www.g2.com/categories/health-care-credentialing) platforms are most trusted by credentialing managers based on user reviews, and the category has enough score variation that comparing numbers without the role and volume context behind them gives a misleading picture. The person running credentialing workflows daily has a very different lens from the executive who approved the purchase.

1. [**CredentialStream**](https://www.g2.com/products/credentialstream/reviews) (3.9 stars, 88 reviews): The deepest review base in the category, predominantly from hospital and health care and medical practice administrators. Chair electronic sign-off on packets makes the approval process more efficient; automated primary source verifications and payer approval tracking bring the full credentialing process into one place with visibility into all flags the moment they register.
2. [**MedTrainer**](https://www.g2.com/products/medtrainer/reviews) (4.4 stars, 86 reviews): All-in-one platform covering credentialing, policy management, training, and incident reporting; employees navigate it easily and complete required trainings quickly, and customer service responds within 24 hours. Support answers calls quickly and resolves requests within an hour.
3. [**symplr Access**](https://www.g2.com/products/symplr-access/reviews) (4.3 stars, 26 reviews): Vendor and provider check-in with an ID badge swipe surfacing all credential information instantly; tracks who is in the facility and for which procedure with compliance tracking across non-employee populations.
4. [**Verisys**](https://www.g2.com/products/verisys/reviews) (4.6 stars, 19 reviews): Primary source verification and committee management described as best in class; consolidates multiple verification lists into one platform with excellent account management and turnaround time.
5. [**Verifiable**](https://www.g2.com/products/verifiable/reviews) (4.7 stars, 14 reviews): Automated provider credentialing with significantly faster onboarding turnaround; intuitive interface and customizable workflows let teams configure the process to their specific requirements.

I'd love to hear from credentialing managers who have standardized on one of these: was the trust built on data accuracy, automation depth, or the compliance documentation it produces for audits?

Trust here usually rests on one of three things, and managers weigh them differently than the buyer did. Data accuracy is what keeps you out of trouble, automation depth is what saves the hours, and clean audit documentation is what you actually reach for when a surveyor shows up. Worth asking which one people would not compromise on.

Question on: ICIMS
[access same references](/discussions/26639-access-same-references)

I applied from a different company 8 weeks ago and submitted 5 references to Skill Survey. They all replied. I am applying to another organization this time and they’re also using Skill Survey. Can I give them permission to access my file as I’ll be giving them same references? I’m job hunting and I’m afraid most of the companies will be using Skill Survey. I don’t want to annoy my references by asking them to fill up same questionnaires over and over again. Thank you.

You can reach our customer service team at support@skillsurvey.com with any questions. Due to the confidential nature of our process and the specific surveys that employers may choose to use, feedback cannot be shared from one employer to another. Thank you! Kelly @ SkillSurvey

Question on: ICIMS
[What is the best time for a client to use SkillSurvey Reference for a job applicant?](/discussions/5498-timing)

timing

We believe the best practice is to generate a SkillSurvey Reference candidate feedback report on a job applicant after the phone screen and before the candidate’s first interview, and our clients have found that it is most effective to use it at this point in the hiring process. Considering the information in the candidate feedback report before interviews allows a recruiter and/or hiring manager to develop interview questions, or use the provided job specific behavioral interview questions, so they can perform a more thorough interview leveraging the feedback of the references. It is not a best practice to use, and SkillSurvey strongly recommends against using, reference feedback report after a job offer has been made.
