[Which ERM systems have the most stable and reliable uptime record with proven customer support, based on user reviews?](/discussions/which-erm-systems-have-the-most-stable-and-reliable-uptime-record-with-proven-customer-support-based-on-user-reviews)

Hey G2 users — I’m researching ERM systems with the most stable and reliable uptime record, backed by proven customer support. Reliability can look like a checkbox during procurement, but it becomes much more important during audit cycles, regulatory submissions, or board reporting.

In the[](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-risk-management-erm)[enterprise risk management (ERM)](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-risk-management-erm) category, I’m looking for:

- Stable availability
- Fast support responses
- Helpful account teams
- Reliable compliance workflows

Products with positive support and reliability signals include:

1. [**Onspring**](https://www.g2.com/products/onspring/reviews): Reviewers describe the platform as available when needed. Support is also often described as responsive and knowledgeable.
2. [**Essential ERM**](https://www.g2.com/products/essential-erm/reviews): Essential ERM reviewers mention prompt, proactive support. The platform’s simplicity may also reduce complex support issues.
3. [**Ncontracts**](https://www.g2.com/products/ncontracts-ncontracts/reviews): Banking and financial services reviewers mention available account managers and service managers. That support can matter during exams or organizational change.
4. [**Hyperproof**](https://www.g2.com/products/hyperproof/reviews): Hyperproof reviewers mention multiple support channels and smooth help experiences.
5. [**LogicGate Risk Cloud**](https://www.g2.com/products/logicgate-risk-cloud/reviews): Reviewers describe the LogicGate team as strong from implementation through ongoing use.

For teams that have dealt with downtime or slow vendor response during a high-stakes period, did it change how you evaluated the platform?

If I'm going by the reviews, Onspring stands out, like almost every review brings up how reliable it is and how responsive support is. LogicGate's right behind on the onboarding side. Ncontracts is good too, though a couple people wanted faster replies

[What do chief risk officers and risk managers actually need from an ERM platform that enterprise buyers and IT teams tend to deprioritize?](/discussions/what-do-chief-risk-officers-and-risk-managers-actually-need-from-an-erm-platform-that-enterprise-buyers-and-it-teams-tend-to-deprioritize)

I’m interested in what chief risk officers and risk managers actually need from an ERM platform that enterprise buyers and IT teams sometimes deprioritize. Procurement may focus on cost. IT may focus on architecture. Risk leaders usually care about whether the tool helps them see risk clearly, assign ownership, and explain what changed.

In the[](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-risk-management-erm)[enterprise risk management (ERM)](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-risk-management-erm) category, the practitioner needs I keep seeing are:

- Clear risk ownership
- Better leadership reporting
- Living risk and control matrices
- Strong audit trails
- Less manual follow-up

A few tools that seem relevant:

- [**Optro**](https://www.g2.com/products/optro/reviews): Reviewers mention controls management, audit modules, deficiency tracking, and Power BI reporting. One note is that the SOX risk assessment feature is described as less mature than the core audit functionality.
- [**LogicGate Risk Cloud**](https://www.g2.com/products/logicgate-risk-cloud/reviews): Risk administrators describe it as useful for seeing enterprise-wide risk instead of siloed data.
- [**Workiva**](https://www.g2.com/products/workiva-workiva/reviews): Relevant when control failures, certifications, and risk register changes need to connect with financial or regulatory reporting.
- [**Resolver**](https://www.g2.com/products/resolver/reviews): Connects incident management, risk, and compliance in one platform.
- [**Riskonnect GRC solutions**](https://www.g2.com/products/riskonnect/reviews): Appears in enterprise ERM evaluations and covers a broad GRC scope.

For CROs, risk managers, and ERM practitioners, what do you wish vendor evaluations weighted more heavily: usability, reporting, ownership workflows, audit trails, or something else?

Oh I think this is such a real tension. Risk managers just want board-level clarity, a clean dashboard the execs actually understand in the quarterly review. Resolver's genuinely good at those risk visualizations, and LogicManager has decent board reporting out of the box. Meanwhile IT cares about the plumbing, CMDB, provisioning, all that, which is where ServiceNow shines but gets config-heavy. Basically IT optimizes for integration depth, risk leaders need speed to insight. Different worlds.
