Visibility starts with collecting and analyzing network flow data at scale. Arbor Sightline aggregates telemetry from across the network (e.g. backbone, peering/transit or customer edge) to provide a centralized view of traffic behavior, making it easier to identify anomalies, understand attack characteristics, and monitor overall network health in real time.

Real-time analysis is important, but historical data is just as valuable for baselining and post-attack insights.

It also helps to compare costs of protection vs. potential loss from a single major outage.
