G2 Launches New Category for DataOps Platforms
DataOps Platforms Discussions
Looking at data on G2’s DataOps Platforms category page, Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Hightouch, dbt, and Atlan seem to be the top choices for teams prioritizing tight integrations with analytics tools. See below for my top software list.
- Databricks Data Intelligence Platform - is a unified analytics and AI platform that centralizes data engineering, governance, and collaboration. It connects natively with BI tools and notebooks, helping teams move from pipelines to dashboards with governed, reusable assets.
- Hightouch - is a reverse ETL and DataOps platform that syncs warehouse data into downstream apps. It offers prebuilt connectors for analytics and BI tools so teams can operationalize metrics and keep dashboards and business apps in lockstep.
- dbt - is a transformation framework that standardizes analytics engineering in the warehouse. With semantic modeling and testing, it plugs cleanly into BI layers so analysts trust—and reuse—models across dashboards and reports.
- Atlan - is a collaborative data workspace that stitches together metadata, lineage, and governance. It integrates across BI and analytics stacks so teams can discover certified assets, understand downstream impact, and accelerate dashboard development.
What do you think? Based on your experiences, are there other options that I should consider? I want to know what the G2 community believes is the best option for users. Thanks!
I’m especially curious how these platforms handle integrations with BI or analytics tools in real-world workflows. Do the connections stay stable as your data volume grows?
