Arduino IDE is only used to write and upload code to your hardware.

It's doubtful - Apple likes to keep their environment separate from others. iOS will continue to be its own identity and I doubt hybrid apps will be supported. As it stands, you can compile C and C++ code in Xcode and write Objective-C and Swift.
