I appreciate how Vanta consolidates all the work needed to achieve different compliance levels and provides a one-stop pain of glass to track tasks and expectations. It allows me to know what's coming up and what to expect for our workload, which helps me do more with our security postures without hiring an expert or taking time from our engineers. I like that I can configure Vanta to give potential customers insights into our security protocols, postures, and policies, and automate responses for security assessments received from potential clients. Vanta saves me enormous amounts of time by running through security assessments first and providing potential clients a link to our security protocols, answering most questions before the sales process begins. I was initially impressed by what Vanta allowed me to do for HIPAA security and moving into SOC 2, Type II, it provided almost a seamless process for certification. The initial setup was very easy, but much of it was already set up. The support is always prompt and clear whenever I reach out.

Honestly the main thing is the integrations. We connected AWS, Bitbucket, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack and it just started collecting evidence automatically. Access reviews, inventory from AWS, policy docs from Confluence - stuff that would've taken us a while to figure out how to document on our own. We got Vanta because we needed SOC 2 and didn't really know where to start, and the onboarding walked us through what controls we actually needed to have in place, which helped a lot early on. The dashboard is clean and easy to scan - I check it most weeks to see if anything's drifted and I don't have to dig around to find what I need. Year and a half in and it does what we need it to.

I use Vanta for audits, and it really helps streamline the audit review cycle. I appreciate the easy-to-use UI and the clear directions it provides whenever an error occurs. Vanta’s remediate feature for severity findings is especially valuable because it walks me through exactly how to address and remediate those findings. The initial setup was as simple as 1, 2, 3, and overall performance has been great. I also find the AI tool genuinely helpful, since it speeds up my processes and makes the workflow feel more efficient.
