While Tropic did not necessarily solve direct problems for me, I find it valuable in giving me ideas about vendor flexibility, which has aided my preparation for negotiation meetings with new vendors. Although I initially struggled with understanding how to use features like the supply intelligence part, I recognize its usefulness and potential benefits, especially in the context of negotiations.

What I value most about Tropic is their team. I have never encountered such helpful consultants during the implementation phase, and even more impressively, the Tropic team continues to be supportive after implementation is complete. When we are negotiating purchases and facing tight deadlines, if the requestor is unresponsive, the team goes out of their way to reach out to anyone necessary to ensure we close deals on time and retain our negotiated discounts. Another aspect I really appreciate about Tropic is the ability to create custom workflows for different types of purchases. I also find the request process straightforward and user-friendly, which makes the platform easy for me to use.
