What I like best about Totara Learn is its sheer flexibility and how much you can achieve using just the native tools. As a small L&D team managing a complex environment, Totara lets us provide great interactive and engaging content on a tight budget. We’ve been able to move away from expensive authoring licenses by building interactive learning pathways using native Dashboards, H5P, and embedded media. While we don't have complex API integrations set up—our HR system data is managed smoothly via routine file uploads—the platform handles embedded content like Google Apps and Genially seamlessly on our dashboards to create connected hubs for staff. The automation behind the scenes is a game changer for us. Features like Dynamic Audiences and automated reporting mean we can manage niche compliance workflows completely hands-off. It even handles offboarding automatically, so when staff leave, they drop out of the system without us having to clean up ghost records manually. Paired with great support and guidance, it’s proved to be an incredibly adaptable, reliable platform that grows with you, whether you're supporting frameworks, onboarding partner content, or building engaging news hubs for staff.
