The Mortgage Office makes it easy for us to manage our clients’ mortgage accounts from start to finish. We’ve been using it since 2019, and we rely on it to manage our mortgage investment company’s client loans and shareholder accounts. For loan administration, we use it to collect client payments, which are automatically posted to the correct account with the proper division of principal and interest. It also includes document storage, a call log, and a notes centre, which helps keep everything in one place. We can pull accurate payout statements and mortgage statements with just a few clicks, and even email them directly to the customer from within the program. A separate module, mortgage pool servicing, efficiently tracks our shareholder investments and issues share certificates accurately. It also calculates pool distributions and can issue tax slips at tax time. After the initial learning phase, the program is straightforward to use and navigate. Response time is good and downtime is rare. When we do run into an issue, support response time has ranged from good to acceptable. Onboarding was relatively easy, and we had dedicated support to guide us through each step of the process. While the pricing is high, it has been comparable to—or less expensive than—alternatives we considered. There is an option to integrate QuickBooks with the program, but we’ve chosen to keep them separate for now. They are also developing an AI help module, and it keeps getting better over time.

I’ve been using The Mortgage Office software for 20 years, and it has always been very user-friendly. The newest edition of TMO includes many helpful enhancements, and the customer service team made the transition very easy.

I find The Mortgage Office Loan Servicing easy to learn and use. The support team is always fast and reliable, which is really appreciated. I love that they offer seminars to learn more about the software functions. Attending one of their workshops was priceless, as I learned so much to improve our operations and make better use of the software. The setup was also very easy, thanks to the onboard sessions and support assisting us with loan and lender imports. The team's quick response and effective communication were very helpful.
