I love the ability to try out new therapists.

What I like best about Talkspace was the To speak with someone remotely rather than face-to-face. Being paired with a counselor was quick and easy and if you are not satisfied with your current counselor, you can change to a new one. You can also write the counselor you are speaking with on the app. In addition, the app allows you to communicate with your counselor through text, giving you the opportunity to maintain conversation with your counselor throughout the week. The app provides check-in's with every client where questions about your progress toward your goals are asked. The counselor is able to use this information to guide their individual treatment plans.

I liked that I was able to message my therapist when I wanted rather than being locked into a time (unless I wanted to). Texting was an easy way for me to get my emotions out and I felt that it was very approachable.
