Reliable Reseller Hosting for Client Sites.

Two-plus years of running client sites on it, and uptime is what's kept me loyal, I haven't had to deal with the kind of recurring outages that turn into awkward calls with clients. The reseller account management is also straightforward: provisioning new client accounts and allocating resources under one roof means I spend my time on client work instead of firefighting server issues.

No drama, no downtime: our VPS workhorse for five years

What I like best about ScalaHosting is how much reliable it is, and for a production stack that is the highest compliment I can give. We’ve been on their Self-Managed VPS in Europe for five years (2 CPU cores, 8GB RAM, 80GB SSD: a basic tier). At our company we are running our website, a self-hosted cloud platform, our mail server, and a custom CRM on that same VPS. Across that whole mix, the upsides that matter most to me as founder/CTO are: Performance and uptime. Connection speeds are consistently fast and we see practically no downtime. Upload/download throttling or other slowdowns are very rare. That stability means our site, cloud platform, and CRM stay responsive for day-to-day work without us having to babysit the server. Mail deliverability. Hosting mail on the same VPS has worked remarkably well. Deliverability has been excellent, which is often the weak link when you self-host email, and for us it has simply worked. Value over “cheapest VPS.” ScalaHosting is not the lowest-priced option. Compared with cheaper VPS plans though the speed and uptime here are clearly better. For the reliability we get in return, the price is absolutely worth it, especially when the alternative is hidden cost in downtime, slowly loading pages. It’s a no-frills service: no unnecessary complexity, just a solid VPS that stays fast and available. After five years, that predictability is what I value most.
