On platform doc gen is the way to go!
On platform document generation makes life substantially easier and allows for more flexibility on what can be done. We did a full blown implementation so there was a lot of work on the front end for us given the way we wanted to use the tool but we were also able to add features that we would have needed to do a ton more work to get there with other tools.

We are very glad that we moved to S-Docs from our previous doc-gen tool. We needed more capabilities and better experience which they have delivered on all fronts.
The doc-generation has provided seamless integration within our salesforce org. It has provided our users with a user friendly experience and we continue to work with them to identify more solutions on our platform. Their customer support has been excellent whether it is answering questions or providing thought leadership.
