Lalilo is an online program K-2 students use to develop the critical foundational literacy skills they need to become skilled readers. After an initial placement test, Lalilo leads students through a standards-aligned series of guided practice and instructional activities to perfect pre-reading and reading skills. As students work through lessons, teachers review progress reports and can assign practice in specific skills to match classroom curriculum and activities as well as target specific needs.
Renaissance Fundamentals provides a K–12 universal screener that helps to uncover non-academic barriers to student learning, like lack of confidence, motivation, or connectedness. Star Phonics is the first and only web-based assessment that screens and diagnoses 12 phonics categories and 102 essential skills. Designed for grades 1–6, Star Phonics can be administered either in-person or remotely and provides immediate reporting aligned to your reading curriculum. Built on Science of Reading research, Star Phonics gives educators specific information about students’ development of essential phonics components, including which students are struggling, which phonics skills are secure, and which need more attention. With this information, they can plan targeted, appropriate instruction to meet every student’s needs.
