The most helpful thing about ModMed is having everything we need in one platform. It helps us keep patient demographics up to date by confirming details at every check-in, which is a definite plus since we always want the most accurate information on file. Klara also speeds up the check-in process by using our forms, and patients seem to like being able to complete the paperwork before they come into the office. On top of that, we save paper. Compared to other EMR's, ModMed lets you verify insurance eligibility for the clinic day with a single click, which is a real time-saver for anyone responsible for checking eligibility. The schedule is straightforward as well; when you hover over the patient tab, it displays the information needed for clinic days, and the overall layout is simply amazing. Another bonus is being able to check a patient in without having to walk to the back office to let the medical assistant know they’ve arrived. All I can say is that I wish my practice had implemented these great features from the beginning of being with the company.
