LibreOffice Calc Totally Beats Excel When It Comes to CSV Files

Having used Excel for many years, I was surprised by how much I enjoy working with LibreOffice Calc. When it comes to handling CSV files, Calc has become my preferred tool. Opening a CSV in Calc is straightforward—it immediately presents clear options so I can select the correct settings, and the data always appears properly formatted. There are no strange glitches or unnecessary delays, just clean data ready for use. Since I work with dozens of CSV files every day, this efficiency really saves me time. I appreciate how simple and stress-free the whole process is.

A smooth, all-in-one solution for bringing ideas and plans to life.

I use LibreOffice Draw to design everything from quick diagrams to detailed org charts and institutional visuals. It manages graphic elements smoothly—aligning, cropping, even adding 3D when needed. Smart connectors make mapping academic processes and team structures much easier, and the layered workflow gives me full control. Export options like .svg and .tif are a big plus beyond just PDF.
