Freshbooks is a great platform if you are starting a business, for a solopreuneur or if you want basic billing. The interface is easy to use, easy to setup recurring billing and easy to get paid. It does something that some competitors do not do: It has a client portal so clients can find all pending invoices or previous invoices. It will also auto-charge credit cards for recurring payments. The costs are reasonable and it's easy to get started.
