I am not going to lie, I started using CoGrader to save time on essay grading, but the biggest win has been how much smoother my workflow feels. Everything is in one place, and I can move quickly from one paper to the next without constantly switching between rubrics, comments, and tabs. The integration piece has been surprisingly seamless—it fits right into my existing systems with Google Classroom and Google Docs without adding extra steps or a steep learning curve. The feedback CoGrader provides helps me give relevant, timely feedback to my students. If you’re using a program that integrates with CoGrader, exporting graded work and feedback is as simple as clicking a button. If you’re using a program that requires manual submission, you can still easily copy and paste the grade and feedback into your platform, which makes implementation feel very manageable. CoGrader is also consistently improving its software and rolling out updates, and those updates are seamless. All you have to do is click a button, and whatever you’re working on refreshes right on your screen. Their customer support is impressive, too. You can chat online, and the chat automatically becomes an email thread, so you don’t miss anything if you have to step away or if they need to follow up later. Response time is minimal, and for longer issues, they check in so you know they’re still working on it. I highly recommend CoGrader to any teacher who has to grade writing.
