It is a great starting point for grading. Having the notes produced is awesome.

I like the different types of feedback and that I can adjust the tone to be more neutral or more friendly. It also provides very specific feedback for each piece of writing, which has cut down on my workload—especially when I’m trying to grade so many papers at once. It gives students the support they need to keep working on their paper and continue improving. I also like how quick it is compared to other programs I’ve tried, such as ChatGPT or Turnitin. It can take the whole class’s download at once instead of only a few files at a time. Overall, it’s an easy program to use and easy to download. It also lets you know quickly if it can’t accept a file, and while it can take a moment to figure out how to re-download the file for a particular student, it isn’t too complicated.
