Windsurf Speeds Up Coding with Smart In-IDE AI Assistance

Windsurf has made coding much faster for me, especially during hackathons and personal projects. The AI seems to understand my codebase well, suggests genuinely useful completions, and helps me generate boilerplate quickly when I need to move fast. I also like being able to ask questions directly in the IDE, instead of constantly switching back and forth between documentation and a bunch of browser tabs.

Context-Aware Suggestions and Built-In Workflows Keep Me Productive

What I like best about Windsurf is how well its context-aware code suggestions fit into my actual workflow. It usually understands what I’m working on across multiple files, so the suggestions feel more relevant than basic autocomplete. The integrated terminal and built-in workflows are also really useful because I can write code, run commands, check errors, and make fixes without constantly switching between tools. This has made debugging much more efficient for me, especially when I’m tracing an issue across different parts of a project. An unexpected benefit is that Windsurf helps me stay focused. Since most of the development and debugging process happens in one place, there is less context switching and I can move from identifying a problem to testing a fix much faster.
