Cascade feels like a true Pair-Programmer that understands your whole codebase

What I like best about Windsurf is how Cascade acts like a genuine pair-programmer rather than a glorified autocomplete. Because it indexes the whole codebase instead of just open files, it proposes multi-file edits that actually fit the existing architecture, and it can run terminal commands and iterate on failures without me babysitting every step. Supercomplete's predictive suggestions cut down a lot of boilerplate typing, and Memories means I'm not re-explaining project context every session. The image-to-code feature and built-in web search are nice unexpected extras - I've turned a UI screenshot into working markup and had it pull in live documentation mid-task. On top of that, since it's built on a familiar VS Code-style interface, the learning curve from switching over was minimal. Combined, these features have meaningfully cut down time spent on repetitive edits and context-switching between tools.
