To start off, the sales people of Mercanis reached out to us via LinkedIn. At first, I was skeptical, but I consulted with my boss and got back to the Mercanis team a few days later. They responded quickly and after a demo that we were given a few days after, we decided to try it. This was about a month ago and now I can say with confidence that we are extremely satisfied with the software. While finding external services had been a painpoint for us before, they greatly simplified it for us. It saved us a tremendous amount of time. To be specific, the process used to look like this: search for service providers to do a job for us, which took several days by itself. Then we had to reach out to them to receive different offers (also took multiple days). Then, after we had enough offers, we could compare them and decide on one. This was quite tedious and required multiple exchanges to coordinate milestones of the projects and price negotiations. With Mercanis though, we were able to drastically reduce the time and effort of this process and focus more on the work. The search for service providers took about one afternoon and reaching out to them could be done on the spot. The next day we had received feedback from about half and had these to compare. We defined the milestones in Mercanis and did not have to redo it with every service provider. Costs were also negotiated quickly and could even be accessed inside the Mercanis software which helped with transparency. At this point I would like to say that the whole Mercanis team (the ones I interacted with) was very nice, supportive and knowledgable throughout the process. Even the salespeople (which I usually really dislike) were very sympathetic and actually checked whether Mercanis would have a usecase for us as a company. Therefore, I can only recommend trying it!

Mercanis really cares about its customers. On several occasions, we had issues with the software that required better understanding or some customization. This was always solved within a few days and therefore could be used and implemented very quickly. Further, it really changed the way we procure services and compare them, leading to six figure savings.
