Performance and pricing have been the strongest parts of my experience so far, and that combination is what made me choose Bronto over other vendors in the market. I’m a software engineer working with observability, so I understand how important it is to get the most out of different signal types: metrics, logs, and traces. Bronto lets me ingest all of these signals very easily using the same OpenTelemetry Collector distribution I’ve always used. I don’t have to install a custom distribution, a proprietary component, or anything along those lines. It's a truly OTel-native experience.

10x faster search and a full year of log retention **What do you like best about Bronto?** For us, search performance improved by about 10x, so log queries that used to take a while now return quickly. Having a full year of log retention is also a major plus for analysis, because we can review long time ranges to compare trends and dig into older issues when needed. MCP support works well and lets us query logs directly from our AI tools. Support has also been responsive. **What do you dislike about Bronto?** The AI features still feel like a work in progress. Integrations are fairly basic. Dashboards, search, and the overall UI are solid, but they’re not fully polished yet—although the UI does seem to be improving. **What problems is Bronto solving, and how is that benefiting you?** We use Bronto to investigate CDN logs during customer escalations and incidents. The faster search and one-year retention help us get to root cause analysis sooner, and they reduce gaps when we need to look back at older issues. Yes. The cost is very competitive, and for that price we get about 10x faster search, one year of log retention, and MCP access that fits into our AI workflows. Those alone make it good value for our log analysis and incident work. The AI features and integrations still need work, but they don’t take away from the value we already get.

I like that Bronto is reliable and embraces flexibility. I appreciate that it adapts to current requirements, especially in improving the quality of life for troubleshooting. The MCP server is much appreciated as it helps in finding patterns and history during analysis, allowing less time to be spent on searching for information. I'm also glad that Bronto is looking forward to adopting the latest technologies.
