I have been using ATLAS.ti since 2019 and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an intuitive CAQDAS. I've trained to use other competitive tools but ATLAS.ti stands out for several reasons: it costs less for a student license; the control is totally in the researcher's hand; the tool interface is intuitive; the developers regularly update the software to respond to glitches and the visualisation keeps getting better with the 23 version. I have used it to analyse literature (even if it is merely to read; ATLAS.ti's advantage of annotating and retrieving codes is helpful), news article clips (over 300 for my PhD), interview transcripts and Facebook comments (over 3000).

The software is intuitive and adaptable to the researcher; I've been using it since 2014 and wouldn't switch to any other choice. Initially developed for grounded theory, the software is not limited to other qualitative analyses. A lot depends on the researchers and their research design. However, the best thing about the software is that it is constantly being renewed and improving various elements, from the interface to the usability of some components. Until today I didn't need to look for another software for my research needs. There is much extra content to learn how to use the tool, training and people trained in it, constituting a true community of qualitative researchers.

I really like that it serves to handle large amounts of data without complication. Additionally, it has a very intuitive and easy-to-use interface, with support tools for researchers. Also, I like that you can collaborate with other people while using an ATLAS.ti project.
