"Easy to Use,"
5/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

It’s easy to use, and I like how active employers are on the platform and how often they reach out to candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

One downside of ZipRecruiter is that some job postings can be outdated or already filled, which makes applying feel frustrating. There’s also a lot of competition for popular roles because applications are so easy to submit. Another issue is that some employers don’t always respond, so communication can feel inconsistent and unclear throughout the hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Job Search with Effective Role Matching"
5/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

I like how easy ZipRecruiter is to use, especially for high-volume job searches. The resume upload and quick application features make it super convenient, allowing me to move at my own pace. It's great for centralizing opportunities and streamlining applications, so I can focus more on jobs that align with my experience. I appreciate that it reduces friction in the job search process by removing repetitive tailoring and improving matching accuracy. It's quite effective for structured discovery and volume filtering, and the faster application workflows really make a difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

Role leveling consistency and signal clarity could be improved. A lot of leadership titles often get mixed in the same recommendation streams, even with the scope defined. Additionally, there's a lack of transparency in why a role is being surfaced. Proactive recommendations are useful, but without clear reasoning, like "Matched due to $300M Portfolio leadership, Multisite infrastructure delivery, PMO Transformation," it feels like a black box. "Easy-to-Navigate Layout and 1-Click Applications Make Job Searching Faster"
5/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

It's easy to find pertinent positions in the easy-on-the-eyes layout, making my search quicker and more efficient.

And the "1-Click" option is most convenient.

I also appreciate the number of "remote" positions listed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

I've not been ZipRecruiter long enough to find many negatives.

I did find a couple of "fill out surveys" opportunities that didn't pan out, AFTER they had my email... which they then spammed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One-Click Apply Makes Job Hunting Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

The feature I like best is the one click apply feature. It allows for me to go through and apply at several jobs throughout my day without spending a big chunk of my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

I guess I would have to say the redundant emails. If no new jobs have entered the system, I feel getting an email each day or sometimes several times a day is simply annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Job Search and Applications with Helpful Filters"
4/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

I find it easy to find jobs I'm interested in, such as Customer service and Graphic design. It's easy to apply for the jobs I find. I can add filters to adjust where I want to apply, how much to make annually, and if I want to be on-site or remote.

I find the performance to be fairly smooth. It's not perfect, but it does match my resume to a fair degree. Thankfully, it's free to use, so I don't feel it's necessary to pay for a subscription. I haven't needed to use any support, as I have not needed to. There is no AI to use on ZipRecruiter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

No AI to adjust your resume for the jobs you find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightning-Fast Applications, Watch Out for Fake Posts"
5/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

I love how ZipRecruiter has a huge volume of listings that are constantly updated. At the end of the day, I can do a quick search and find new openings. The One Click apply feature makes it easy to send out my resume, which is super convenient. I really like the alerts that notify me when employers interact with my application. The speed of ZipRecruiter is fantastic; I can apply to 20 jobs in the time it takes me to apply to 3 on other platforms. I appreciate not having to continuously reenter my work history or reupload my resume, unlike on other platforms. The initial setup was incredibly fast, it didn't even take longer than 2 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

What I don't like is the fact that you have to be on the lookout for all the low-quality or misleading postings. Anything that is remote admin, data entry, and 'Recruiter' roles are most likely going to be fake or very low-effort listings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Job Search and One-Click Apply, But Listings and Notifications Need Refinement"
3/5
What do you like best about ZipRecruiter?

What I like most about ZipRecruiter is how streamlined and user-friendly it makes the entire job search process. The platform is easy to navigate, and the filters help me quickly narrow down opportunities by location, salary, experience level, and job type. I also appreciate that many of the job recommendations feel relevant, which saves me time compared to searching manually across multiple sites.

One of the most helpful features is the one-click apply option, since it lets me submit applications efficiently without having to re-enter the same information over and over. The job alerts are another big benefit because they keep me updated on new openings that match my interests and help me apply early. I also like being able to track my applications and see when employers have viewed them, which adds more transparency to the process. Overall, ZipRecruiter feels convenient, organized, and effective for finding quality job opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ZipRecruiter?

What I dislike about ZipRecruiter is that some job listings can feel repetitive or outdated. I sometimes run into the same positions multiple times, or I’ll see roles that may no longer be available. I’ve also noticed that not every posting includes enough detail about salary, benefits, or company expectations, which makes it harder to judge whether an opportunity is a good fit before I apply.

Another downside is that while job alerts are helpful, they can send too many notifications or recommend positions that are only loosely related to my preferences. In some cases, it’s also difficult to tell how active an employer is, or whether they’re seriously reviewing applications. Overall, the platform is useful and convenient, but improving listing quality and recommendation accuracy would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
