Zenmap is a relatively simple tool to use; select your target and the scans you want to perform against it. I can scan for open ports and see which services are running on them. I can also check for malware using scripts from the NSE. Its vulnerability scanning is excellent in identifying vulnerable systems for patching. With Zenmap, you can scan for vulnerabilities, see where they are within your network or devices, and begin patching them.
