What do you like best about Yext?

I like Yext's analytics feature the most. We build our own custom reports instead of using predefined graphs, and I've found nothing nearly as robust as Yext on other platforms. We can access important data points at a store, folder, or tag level, which include search term impressions by brand, customer actions like website button clicks, get directions, and calls. What do you dislike about Yext?

I think that the number one thing that could be improved is the feature for testing segments of stores. Currently, we have to tag stores, build our own samples, and then analyze the data. What do you like best about Yext?

The Yext platform is transparent about what's it's doing for every user. I can see what platforms my data is reaching and where the gaps are that i need to fix. I love that it is constantly evolving and getting better as a product and as UX for it's users. I believe it's the best on the market for pages and listings as it has the biggest reach of publishers. Having first access to newer Google and Apple features is also a huge bonus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

The support you get through Yext is incredible, however, i have issues with the ticketing system. Although i appreciate it makes every issue streamlined for a quick response, the tickets can be hard to follow and easy to miss updates. It's unclear who is looped into the ticket so i don't know if i have to notify other people or if they are also in the ticket.

As someone who works across multiple clients, I have around 20 different log ins which i use. My dream is to have one central log in where i can access all my clients Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yext?

What do you dislike about Yext?

After nearly a decade as a customer, I can honestly say this has been one of the most frustrating vendor experiences I've had.

Their contracts appear to include annual price increases (mine was approximately 7%), but when I needed help discussing my renewal and unique business situation, getting meaningful assistance proved extremely difficult.

Contacting someone who could actually help was a challenge. The website chat felt almost entirely automated, and I found it surprisingly difficult to locate my contract details and pricing information within the platform. The entire process felt unnecessarily complicated.

This year, we're closing some stores and opening others, so I simply wanted a contract that reflected our changing business needs and prevented us from paying for unused listings. Instead of working with me directly, Yext referred me to a third-party reseller despite our long relationship.

Communication was consistently slow, making it stressful to address a contract that requires 30 days' notice before renewal. Whether intentional or not, the process made me feel like I had very little flexibility as a customer.

I've never felt so undervalued by a marketing partner. In my opinion, Yext prioritized rigid contract terms over building a long-term customer relationship. What do you like best about Yext?

The power of the overall suite has allowed location-specific work to achieve greater success for our customers. The flexibility of our Pages instance, for example, allows us to be quite active at supporting the customer locations while also giving benefit to our Brands across the web. What do you dislike about Yext?

I don't think it's a fault of Yext per se, but our use case is not as conventional as many of the Yext clients as we don't own the locations we support with the platform. These are customer locations, 3rd parties, and this is more of a distributor model so we don't have access to things like Google Business Profiles to really take advantage of the full suite of services.

What do you like best about Yext?

I like the simplicity of Yext, as it allows me to manage everything in one place instead of using multiple vendors. The help videos Yext provides are really great because they let me solve problems on my own and work independently when I need to. I also appreciate how using Yext helps keep all our Google listings up to date, which is really helpful. What do you dislike about Yext?

Definitely, the help center, I would say. We go through many different project managers with Yext. You guys have a big turnover, I feel like, with it. And we don't always get the answers that we're looking for in a timely way. Sometimes it you know, it's many days or weeks or we have support tickets open for a longer period of time, and you know, we need answers right away. And, sometimes the team just doesn't have the answers for us and that's hard to go back to our ops team and share with them that you know, paying for services and yet sometimes we don't have the right tools to get us what we need. What do you like best about Yext?

The best location management tool in the world which makes it possible to distribute local store information to all most important publishers. This tool takes you soo much work out of your hands, you can't imagine to manage your brand in the country or worldwide. Also you're able to create all kinds of automations easily to other tools that need local info real-time or sync your event data from Yext to your website in real-time. What do you like best about Yext?

I use Yext primarily to monitor reputation for a client across all their different locations. I really like that it brings all the different review sites into one platform, which is super helpful for us. I think the user interface is very strong, making it easy to navigate. The analytics are also robust, allowing us to provide strong insights to our client. I find the ability to have prewritten or preapproved responses in a dropdown handy, as it helps my team respond quickly and appropriately with legal language. The analytics features are great for tracking our progress month-to-month and year-over-year, assisting us in identifying trends throughout the year, like when we'll typically see a surge or a lull in reviews. What do you dislike about Yext?

I really like the convenience and time savings Yext provides. Being able to update business information once and have it automatically sync across multiple platforms makes managing listings much more efficient.
