Xweather RoadAI Reviews & Product Details

Xweather RoadAI gives road authorities and maintenance providers automated defect detection, condition scores, asset inventories, and a video record of the network, powered by smartphone video and AI during routine drives. With objective, same-day results, teams can catch deterioration early, plan maintenance, and justify every budget decision with documented evidence. The RoadAI smartphone app collects data at normal driving speed, using computer vision to detect pavement distresses, map road signs and markings, and generate condition scores. No specialist training or equipment is needed. Connected car telemetry adds network-wide roughness data from nearly two million vehicles, updated weekly. A geolocated video record of every surveyed road supports desktop reviews, compliance reporting, and liability protection, with all data exporting to existing asset management systems. The quality, accuracy, and reliability of Xweather RoadAI have been independently validated and approved by the UK Department for Transport (PAS 2161), Denmark's Vejdirektoratet, and France's Cerema. Customers across North America, Europe, and Australasia survey over 7.5 million kilometers every year with the platform. Delivered as a cloud-based subscription, RoadAI requires no specialist equipment, vehicles, or training beyond a standard smartphone, and scales from small municipalities to national road networks.
