XCERT Accounting Close Reviews & Product Details

Account certification is where finance teams prove their balances are right, and where the process often falls apart: spreadsheets, email approvals, and no clear trail when auditors ask who validated what. XCERT, from Calixys, replaces that with a single structured process. For each account, it compares two balances (for example, ledger versus bank statement), shows what remains unexplained, and requires the gap to be justified before the account moves to review. Reviewers approve or reject with comments, and every step is recorded. Built for finance, accounting and internal control teams, XCERT helps you: - Run certification campaigns monthly, quarterly, annually or on your own calendar, without rebuilding the process each time - Focus reviewers on risk by automatically certifying low-risk accounts or accounts with no movement - Keep control across subsidiaries and currencies: justify in each account's own currency, report in local or group currency - Stay audit-ready: full history for every account, closed campaigns kept as read-only archives, and a restricted access profile for external auditors - Connect your existing systems (ERP, bank files, management tools) through configurable imports, without custom development XCERT is not limited to bank accounts. The same process works for intercompany accounts, securities positions or inventory counts, and the review steps, user groups and certification codes follow your own internal control policy. If you need to prove that your balances are explained, reviewed and signed off, XCERT gives your team the process and the evidence.
